Forty years at home in Kaneohe has been a long time for Aunty Marleen to admire and appreciate her favorite things – the flowers and mountains, dinner cookouts with husband Uncle Gary, the company of granddaughters Makenna and Malie and grandsons Laakea and Keao, and Hawaiian quilts owned by her own grandmother.

Like much of the family, Aunty Marleen hasn't been able to go out often due to the pandemic. Thankfully, the comforts of home and the company of family is what keeps her happy. And no matter how old her family or possessions grow, she will always appreciate the beauty in all of them.
